Brendan combines his skills as a lawyer with his experience as a full-stack software developer to help tech companies and startups grow. He advises businesses, investors, non-profits, and individuals on a wide range of legal matters.
As a litigator, Brendan has represented parties in disputes at all levels, from trials in county courts to petitions to the Supreme Court of the United States. In his transactional practice, Brendan has represented parties in connection with transactions worth tens of millions of dollars in the aggregate, including several transnational transactions.
Brendan was previously a Visiting Assistant Professor at Penn State Law. Before that, he was Liman Fellow in the Supreme Court & Appellate Practice at the MacArthur Justice Center. Brendan is a graduate of Yale Law School and Penn State University.

Clarissa advises emerging companies on formation, fundraising, securities law, employment, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and cross-border operations. She also represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and domestic and international disputes. As an arbitrator, Clarissa has decided 18 disputes, including several international disputes.
Clarissa is a graduate of Yale Law School and Princeton University. Clarissa previously clerked for the Hon. T. S. Ellis III and the Hon. David J. Novak, both of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Before that, she worked in the general counsel's office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Legal Honors Attorney. A former Fulbright Scholar in Mexico, Clarissa speaks Spanish and is passionate about expanding the firm's Latin America practice.
